A Free-Wheeling Account of Life on the Thin Blue Line
By Jack S. Tinsley
Without Fear or Favour sums up 33 years of in-your-face policing on the mean streets of Winnipeg. Former police inspector Jack Tinsley depicts Winnipeg’s finest as characters and comedians, as well as dedicated officers who try to “make it right” instead of just playing by the book.
This controversial memoir brings out the black humour of police officers, who often see people at their worst. It also touches on the darker moments in cops’ lives.
Without Fear or Favour is a gritty, ribald, and riveting read. And it’s all true.
