About the Author
John Einarson grew up in the Winnipeg neighbourhood of Crescentwood where, as a young guitar player on the community club circuit, he played in a number of local bands including Fabulous George & The Zodiacs, Euphoria, Red Ryder and Blakewood Castle. Einarson lives in Winnipeg with his family - wife Harriett, son Matthew, and daughter Lynsey - where he teaches history at St. John’s-Ravenscourt, a private university prep school. Each year Einarson organizes a popular rock ‘n’ roll revue involving over one hundred students. Made in Manitoba is his 10th book on music.
